Tuesday - December 29th
The arrival in the Faroe Islands is a special experience, especially when the sky is clear. The view from the plane’s window is captivating — really giving you that WOW feeling.
Upon arrival at Vágar Airport, a shuttle will be waiting to drive you to Hotel Føroyar in Tórshavn, where you will check in for four nights.
At Hotel Føroyar you will be greeted by the reception staff.
Wednesday - December 30th
On this day you will experience the hotel’s spa, Ress. Step into stillness. It’s time to give yourself a well-deserved break from your everyday life and enjoy this sanctuary of peace at our Spa House with heated pools, saunas, and much more.
Thursday - December 31st
On this day you will explore the sights of Tórshavn on a guided bike tour through the city. Take in the views and fresh air in a special way that will be sure to remember. The tour is suitable for experienced and non-experienced riders alike.
In the evening you will celebrate New Year's Eve at the hotel’s restaurant Ruts, where you get to enjoy a tasting menu. At midnight champagne and cake on the roof.
Friday - January 1st
You are free to explore on your own. We recommend that you head into the charming city of Tórshavn. Take a walk through the old part of town, where you will get a good sense of its history and culture. Visit the art museum to experience some spectacular local artists and the Nordic house for some amazing architecture and lovely lunch buffet. You can also visit one of the many charming cafes and the shops in town. If you would prefer a guided tour, please let us know.
Saturday - January 2nd
Your tour on the Faroe Islands has come to an end. You will be picked up by an airport shuttle that will take you back to Vágar Airport. We hope that you feel recharged and that you have enjoyed your time here to the fullest.
