The day is yours.

Today, head north through the impressive undersea tunnels and mountain scenery towards Viðareiði, the northernmost village in the Faroe Islands.
The journey itself is an experience, passing dramatic coastlines, towering peaks, and remote settlements. Upon arrival in Viðareiði, enjoy spectacular views of some of the highest mountains in the country and the rugged landscape that makes this village so unique.
On your return journey, stop in Klaksvík, the Faroe Islands’ second-largest town and fishing capital. If weather conditions allow and you enjoy hiking, consider a walk up to Klakkur, one of the most famous viewpoints in the islands, offering panoramic views over the surrounding fjords and islands.
Today you will explore some of the Faroe Islands’ most iconic natural attractions.
Start with a hike to Trælanípa, also known as the "Lake Above the Ocean." This famous viewpoint overlooks Lake Sørvágsvatn, creating the remarkable optical illusion that the lake is suspended high above the Atlantic Ocean.
Continue towards the village of Gásadalur, one of the most photographed locations in the Faroe Islands. Along the way, pass through the charming village of Bøur, renowned for its breathtaking views of Tindhólmur and the sea stacks offshore.
In Gásadalur, take a short walk to the magnificent Múlafossur Waterfall, where water plunges directly into the ocean against a dramatic mountain backdrop.

Spend the day exploring one of the world’s smallest and most charming capitals.
Visit Tinganes, the historic peninsula where the Faroese government has been based for centuries. Wander through the narrow lanes lined with traditional turf-roofed buildings and colorful houses.
Enjoy the cafés, local boutiques, harbor area, and museums, or simply soak up the relaxed atmosphere of Tórshavn.
Today’s route takes you through some of the most scenic villages in the Faroe Islands.
Begin with a visit to Saksun, a stunning village surrounded by mountains and a tidal lagoon. Continue to Tjørnuvík, one of the oldest villages in the country, famous for its black sand beach and views of the sea stacks Risin and Kellingin.
Along the route, stop at Fossá, the highest waterfall in the Faroe Islands, cascading down the mountainside in multiple stages.
Continue onwards to Gjógv, a picturesque village named after its spectacular natural sea-filled gorge.
On your way back to Tórshavn, take the opportunity to experience the remarkable roundabout deep beneath the sea in the Eysturoy Tunnel, an engineering and artistic landmark unlike anywhere else in the world.

Begin the day with a visit to Kirkjubøur, the Faroe Islands’ most important historical village.
Explore the ruins of Saint Magnus Cathedral, the medieval Roykstovan farmhouse, and enjoy the beautiful coastal surroundings overlooking the island of Hestur.
From there, travel through the Sandoy Tunnel to Sandoy, known for its rolling landscapes, charming villages, rich birdlife, and peaceful atmosphere. Spend the day exploring the island’s villages, coastline, and hidden corners at your own pace.
Sandoy offers a different side of the Faroe Islands, with gentler landscapes and a strong connection to Faroese culture and history.
