Today, head north through the impressive undersea tunnels and mountain scenery towards Viðareiði, the northernmost village in the Faroe Islands.
The journey itself is an experience, passing dramatic coastlines, towering peaks, and remote settlements. Upon arrival in Viðareiði, enjoy spectacular views of some of the highest mountains in the country and the rugged landscape that makes this village so unique.
On your return journey, stop in Klaksvík, the Faroe Islands’ second-largest town and fishing capital. If weather conditions allow and you enjoy hiking, consider a walk up to Klakkur, one of the most famous viewpoints in the islands, offering panoramic views over the surrounding fjords and islands.
