Day 1

Sunday - Arrival and Check In at Hotel Føroyar

Today you arrive in the Faroe Islands – a place where nature takes the lead.
As you land at Vágar Airport, you are warmly welcomed by your personal local guide, ready to introduce you to life on the islands. During the scenic drive through dramatic mountains, green valleys, and coastal views, your guide shares fascinating stories about Faroese culture, history, and everyday life.
The journey continues towards the charming capital, Tórshavn, where you check in at the elegant Hotel Føroyar. Here, you can relax and enjoy breathtaking panoramic views overlooking the entire city and surrounding landscape – the perfect beginning of your Faroese adventure.

Day 2

Monday - Kalsoy, the James Bond Island

Today you head north on a private journey to the mythical island of Kalsoy. Together with your local guide, you enjoy a scenic drive through fjords, mountains, and unique subsea tunnels on your way to Klaksvík, the Faroe Islands’ second-largest town. Along the way, the dramatic landscapes of the Northern Isles unfold around you.

From Klaksvík, a short ferry ride takes you to Kalsoy, often called the Faroe Islands’ James Bond Island. Steep cliffs rise from the sea as you continue towards Trøllanes, the starting point for the hike to the iconic Kallur Lighthouse. The hike leads through open landscapes with sheep and birdlife, ending at one of the most breathtaking viewpoints in the Faroes. Lunch is enjoyed surrounded by towering cliffs and endless ocean views.

The tour continues to Mikladalur, where you visit the famous Seal Woman (Kópakonan) statue and hear the legendary Faroese tale behind her.
In the afternoon, you return by ferry and drive back to Tórshavn, ending a day filled with dramatic nature, legends, and unforgettable views.

Day 3

Tuesday - Highlights of the Faroe Islands and Spa

Today you enjoy a private full-day tour exploring some of the Faroe Islands’ most iconic landscapes and villages. Together with your local guide, you travel through the heart of Streymoy and Eysturoy, stopping at carefully selected highlights.

Your journey begins in the remote and picturesque village of Saksun, nestled within a dramatic mountain beside the lagoon, Pollurin. From here, the road leads on to Tjørnuvík, famous for its sand beach and views towards the legendary sea stacks, the Giant and the Witch, rising from the ocean. The route continues past the islands’ highest waterfall Fossá and along mountain roads near Slættaratindur, the highest peak in the Faroes.

The day concludes in the charming village of Gjógv, known for its natural harbour and deep gorge. Here, you enjoy lunch and time to stroll through the village or take in the views from above, surrounded by dramatic cliffs and open sea.

After a wind-swept and adventure-filled day, you return to your hotel in Tórshavn, where a moment of pure relaxation awaits. In the serene spa RESS, you unwind in warm pools and peaceful surroundings where nature flows seamlessly indoors and outdoors. With panoramic views over the harbour and Nólsoyarfjørður, you end the day in calm, comfort, and quiet luxury.

Day 4

Wednesday - Suðuroy, The Southernmost Island

Today you journey south to the unique and dramatic island of Suðuroy. Board the ferry Smyril together with your guide and sail out of Tórshavn, leaving the historic Tinganes behind. During the scenic two-hour crossing, you can relax with a coffee, step out on deck, and enjoy sweeping views as you pass Nólsoy, Sandoy, and the remote islands of Stóra Dímun and Lítla Dímun, rising sharply from the sea.

Upon arrival, you explore an island shaped by rugged nature and rich history. Suðuroy’s eastern side is carved by deep fjords dotted with small villages, while the western coast is defined by towering sea cliffs and abundant birdlife. Traveling by car, you discover some of the island’s most striking highlights, including dramatic basalt formations, the powerful gorge Kúlagjógv, and panoramic mountain roads near Beinisvørð, one of the Faroes’ highest bird cliffs.

The journey continues to Akraberg, the southernmost point of the Faroe Islands reachable by road, where vast ocean views and a remote lighthouse landscape create a truly unforgettable setting. After a full day of exploration, stories, and wild scenery, you return by ferry, ending the day with lasting impressions of Suðuroy’s raw beauty and distinct character.

Day 5

Thursday - Mykines, The Puffin Island

Embark on a private adventure to Mykines, the Faroe Islands’famous puffin island. Set your own pace with the guide, and focus on what you love – whether it’s photography, hiking, or simply enjoying the wild nature. Mykines is a Ramsar site, home to incredible birdlife, including the largest puffin colony in the Faroes. Explore the tiny village with its colourful turf-roofed houses, and take in the dramatic cliffs and open sea.

You leave Tórshavn and drive to Sørvágur to catch the ferry to Mykines. On the crossing, admire the sea stacks of Drangarnir and the islands of Tindhólmur and Gáshólmur. Once on the island you will hike to the stunning view points over the puffin colony and towering cliffs. After the hike, take time to explore the village before catching the ferry back to Sørvágur.

Day 6

Friday - Vestmanna Bird Cliffs  OR  Grotto Concert

Experience the wild beauty of the Faroe Islands on a private guided tour. You start in Tórshavn and drive to the village of Vestmanna for a stunning boat trip along dramatic bird cliffs. Puffins chatter on the ledges, guillemots call, and waves crash against the rocks. Within minutes, you’re sailing beneath some of Europe’s most awe-inspiring cliffs. The boat tour lasts around two hours, bringing you as close to the vertical cliffs as the weather allows. Pass through narrow straits, marvel at basalt columns, and explore sea caves carved over millions of years. Your guide shares fascinating stories about the birdlife, geology, and the history of Vestmanna – from sailors seeking refuge to pirates raiding the settlement. Next, visit the idyllic village of Leynar, with its rare white sandy beach. Enjoy views over Koltur, northern Vágar, and Kvívík. End the day in Kvívík, one of the Faroes’ oldest settlements. See the remains of Viking long houses over a thousand years old and take in views toward Vágar, Koltur, Sandoy, and Hestoy.

You are picked up in Tórshavn and head to Gamlarætt ferry port, where your private RIB captain is ready. Cruise along the stunning west coast of Hestur, with towering cliffs, seabird colonies, and dramatic Atlantic views. Your first stop is the island’s massive bird cliffs, where thousands of seabirds nest and soar above the waves. Then, enter Klæmintsgjógv, the largest sea cave in the world, shaped by volcanic forces over millions of years. Inside, darkness and silence surround you — until a live solo performance on trumpet or saxophone fills the cave. With natural echoes of up to 12 seconds, the music creates a dreamlike, unforgettable experience.

Day 7

Saturday - Tórshavn, The Capital

Explore the history and culture of Tórshavn on this private 2-hour city walk. You walk at a comfortable pace with your guide, with plenty of time for questions and photographs at each stop. Visit Skansin, a historic fortressin the heart of the city. Built in the late 16th century to defend the Faroes from pirates, it later served as a British base in World War II. Explore its cannons, walls, and lighthouse while enjoying stunning views over the harbour. Stroll through Tinganes, one of the world’s oldest parliamentary sites, where Viking chieftains once established the first Faroese laws. Today, it’s still the seat of government, blending tradition with modern politics. Walk the narrow streets of Reyn, Tórshavn’s charming old town. Admire centuries-old wooden houses with grass roofs and vibrant colors, and soak up the atmosphere of a bygone era. Perfect for history lovers and photographers. The tour ends in the city center, where you can explore local arts and crafts shops, pick up unique souvenirs, and discover Faroese creativity.

Day 8

Sunday - Vágar Island and Departure

After checking out of Hotel Føroyar, you head west, beginning your private adventure to explore the Wonders of Vágar Island. Your journey starts along the old mountain road toward the tunnel leading to Vágar Island. Pause at Norðadalsskarð for a brief break and take in the stunningfjord views before continuing through the Faroes’ first sub-sea tunnel. Drive through charming villages to reach Gásadalur, home to the iconic Múlafossur Waterfall, cascading directly into the ocean. This picturesque village was once accessible only by foot until a tunnel was built in 2006. From Gásadalur, hike along the shores of Leitisvatn, the largest lake in the Faroes, leading up to Trælanípan. Marvel at the optical illusion of the lake seemingly floating above the ocean, and enjoy panoramic views over the sea and the southern islands. Along the hike, you’ll encounter the 30-meter-high Bøsdalafossur Waterfall and the dramatic Geituskoradrangur sea stack rising from the North Atlantic.

After the tour, your guide will bid you farewell at the airport, leaving you with a heart full of rich and unforgettable experiences across our islands.
